The Network for Arts Administrators of Color (or NAAC Boston) was established to enhance the visibility of professionals of color in Greater Boston’s arts and culture sector, as well as widen the leadership pipeline and highlight opportunities for professional and personal growth in the field.

BPL Concerts in the Courtyard: Mariano Escalona

Mariano Escalona is a drummer, percussionist, singer, and arranger from Caracas, Venezuela. He started his academic studies when he was thirteen years old as part of El Sistema, where he did six years of classical percussion. He performed in many prestigious halls in Venezuela and was also part of professional orchestras directed by world-famous conductors like Gustavo Dudamel.
